A major focus of our placemaking efforts is the revitalization of downtown Myrtle Beach through strong public-private partnerships. Partnership Grand Strand (PGS) works closely with the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance (MBDA) to accelerate downtown’s renewal. PGS has committed significant resources to these efforts – including dedicating 25% of our foundation’s annual distributions — to support MBDA’s programs.
PGS also collaborates with the City of Myrtle Beach’s Downtown Redevelopment Office to align our resources with the city’s Downtown Master Plan, ensuring revitalization efforts are coordinated for maximum impact.
