Indeed, the leading global matching and hiring platform, has combined millions of employee insights to identify the best companies for “work wellbeing”.   Work wellbeing is a new metric that continues to rise in regard to employee’s evaluation of the companies they work for.  Work wellbeing is essentially asking them how they feel regarding happiness, stress, satisfaction and purpose.

Initially, you may not think this is relevant or worth focusing on, but what hiring organizations like indeed are learning, is that it is quickly rising to a top consideration for employees.  Companies are now getting publicly rated in this area for all candidates to see.

The data indicates that employee expectations continue to rise regarding work wellbeing. Indeed’s study went on the say that 85% or candidates will choose to work for a company that values their feelings over another with a lower rating in this category.

The results of indeed’s 2023 Better Work Awards are found in the article link below.  The top 3 companies were Love’s Travel Stations, H&R Block and Delta Airlines.  Based on this information, it sounds like time spent demonstrating care and concern for employees is more important than ever in attracting great talent.
