Last month, SCORE® joined forces with Partnership Grand Strand (PGS) and several sponsors to launch the inaugural BIG Mixer event—a vibrant celebration that brought together local small businesses for an unforgettable evening of networking, entertainment, and delicious food. Attendees enjoyed a lively atmosphere complete with a cash bar, exciting raffles, and much more. While making valuable sales connections was certainly a highlight, the primary focus was to explore the wealth of resources available to small businesses in the Grand Strand and to showcase the diverse entrepreneurs thriving in the area.
A significant highlight of the event was the fundraising effort for Meals on Wheels of Horry & Georgetown County. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and a successful 50/50 raffle, the event proudly raised $600 to support this important cause.
Despite free admission, tickets were limited and sold out quickly, reflecting the strong interest in this type of event within the business community. Each attendee received a thoughtfully curated swag bag filled with gifts from generous sponsors, who also provided an array of exciting raffle prizes—from candles and chocolates to complimentary services.
Inspiring the crowd was master sales improv trainer and leadership strategist Gina Trimarco, a seasoned entrepreneur based in Myrtle Beach. With over 25 years of experience, she shared powerful stories and insights that resonated deeply with everyone present.
