Coast RTA celebrated its 40th anniversary on September 27, 2023, with a small gathering of employees, board members, and community leaders at its Conway office. During a presentation, General Manager Brian Piascik discussed plans for a new $52 million transportation facility off Robert Grissom Parkway, which is part of the organization's vision for the future of local transit.
Piascik said the new facility will be a significant upgrade from Coast RTA's current headquarters, which is located in an aging building that is no longer adequate to meet the needs of the growing organization. The new facility will be more spacious and efficient, and it will feature a number of amenities that will improve the experience for both riders and employees.
