Whether you need a new office assistant or not, Microsoft now has a new digital tool for you.
Microsoft recently launched Copilot - the first ChatGPT-powered tool that is fully integrated into their hugely popular Microsoft Office software.
Copilot is the outcome of Microsoft’s multi-billion-dollar investment in Open AI that began in 2019. Open AI owns ChatGPT and now Microsoft has created Copilot using the capabilities of artificial intelligence.
Copilot can convert Word documents to PowerPoint presentations, draft e-mail responses, summarize meetings and automate numerous other office tasks.
Copilot is an add on feature to the Microsoft 365 suite of products. It will cost you another $30 per month per user, but test users say it’s absolutely worth it. Test users estimate it has saved them an average of 5 to 10 hours per week.
Copilot is projected to be a game changer for Microsoft as they have stepped into the leadership position in AI solutions with this November launch. It is projected to generate revenue of over $10 billion by 2026.
