November 2025 - Build Something Amazing (Trade Program)
More than 500 high school students from across Horry County gained firsthand experience in skilled trade careers during the annual “Build Something Amazing” Career Exploration Event.
Throughout the day, students rotated through interactive booths and live demonstrations highlighting careers in construction, HVAC, electrical, automotive, welding and plumbing. Employers from across the Grand Strand offered students the chance to operate tools, test equipment and speak directly with professionals who work in the field every day. The hands-on experience helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world career opportunities.
