In partnership with the Grand Strand Young Professionals organization, PGS created a proprietary ‘behind the scenes” experience in 2023.
Participants gain exclusive access to behind-the-scenes tours of local businesses and organizations. The goal is to showcase the depth and diversity of career paths available in our area.
Previous tours include visits to the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach to see how a commercial kitchen is run, a tour of DC Blox, opportunity to learn proper dining / etiquette education from a certified professional, and a behind-the-scenes look into the production of a symphony performance from the Long Bay Symphony.
Young professionals and students can connect through the Grand Strand Young Professionals network or Coastal Carolina University. Keep an eye out for upcoming experiences such as tours of Ripley’s Aquarium and Brookgreen Gardens' Night of 1000 Candles.
